The Company:

I've recently started working on a role at a Gothenburg-based Fintech company who are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to eventually transition into a Tech Lead role within the organisation.

The company work with investments in a different way to many typical brokers in that they place emphasis on educating their customers into how best to invest their savings. They provide up-to-date, algorithmic-based solutions, with a focus on investing into areas that positively impact society, such as green savings products, healthcare and renewables.

As sister company to a well-known name in the employment benefits industry, the company are very financially stable, yet are allowed to operate in a startup-like fashion. This allows them to retain short communication pathways within the business, and to cut out unnecessary red tape. The team is structured in a very flat manner, meaning any employee in the business can have their ideas heard and impact felt.

Tech Stack: C#/.NET, .NETCore, MS SQL, Entity, Octopus Deploy, Microservices, React, Typescript

The Role:

They are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to add experience to their team. You'll work predominantly in the backend logic and architecture - one major project in the beginning will be their transition to a microservice-based setup. You'll also be able to take on work on the frontend in React/Typescript.

As one of the more senior developers in the organisation, you'll take on some mentoring and guidance responsibility for the more junior members of the team. As you grow into the company and prove your value in the solutions you provide, you'll transition more towards tech leadership, getting involved in higher-level decision making on a strategic level. This makes this a fantastic opportunity for any developer who is looking to make that step up to a role with more responsibility than pure coding.
